Almost Easter

As I mentioned here, there's something about Easter candy that's so much better than the sweets offered for other holidays.  I can't seem to get enough of the huge Reese's pieces eggs, Cadbury caramel eggs, and the enormous Reese's peanut butter cups.  And this year, Lindt has joined the club with their incredibly rich and delicious Lindor truffle eggs.  I'm looking forward to a long weekend of splurging on candy, cooking some new recipes, time with friends, and dinners with Gabe.  I'll be back on Monday to tell you about it.  Have a great weekend!

Have a fabulous Easter weekend! I agree that the candy is the Best part! Just yesterday I was digging into a See's candy egg. I can't wait for Cadbury and Reese's.

Peeps! I miss Peeps! They don't sell Peeps on this side of the world. Boooohooo. I asked my brother to bring me back some Peeps but I don't think they would still be good to eat by December when he comes to visit. lol.

You are all up in my brains this week Valerie!! My mom sent a pile of candy that I swear contains almost everything you listed here...including those Lindt truffle eggs.

Yesterday AM: woke up, opened eyes, reached left hand over to bedside table, grabbed Lindt truffle egg, peeled foil away and consumed. All in the horizontal before even having a coherent thought.

Happy Easter!!
